Located in the heart of the district and across the grand old Cathedral of the Nuestra Senora de la Candelaria, it has been converted into a peaceful sanctuary in the middle of the city. 
The well-manicured lawns and sprawling trees offer a brief respite from the busy chaos of everyday life. There’s even some classical music from its speakers too.
Our Tala tote bags are slowly coming to life – made of handwoven abaca and embellished with indigenous materials like wooden beads and shells, it celebrates the slow life by the seaside. Something most Ilonggos are familiar with. After all, anywhere we are in Iloilo, the sea is simply a few minutes away.
